  What is Fohat?
What is Fohat?

Fohat and the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit and Fohat are identical by definition and in operation. Fohat is the informing and guiding intelligence behind all the forces of nature. Like the Navajo wind it is the ever-present moving-power of divine love  and the life-principle, the vital soul of the suns, moons, planets, and even of our Earth.  Fohat, in its various manifestations, is the mysterious link between Mind and Matter, the animating principle electrifying every atom into life. -- The Secret Doctrine 1:602, 16

Fohat operates through the power of sound, light, flame, magnetism, attraction, repulsion, and cohesion. The Fohat is a living thinking Being, and she has her own work to perform in the plan of Redemption, other than the Father and the Son. Fohat was embedded in the disciples on the day of Pentecostal. The disciples of Jesus were filled with Fohat Fire and they could channel God consciousness . All people are born with the spark of the Fohat that creates their I AM Presence.

Fohat has a distinctive personality all her own; and that she has assumed various forms–including angelic and human, throughout the history of this earth.

What is Fohat? Is the Fohat just an essence, power, or mind, or is she a real Being?  Can the Fohat think for Itself and Make its Own Decisions?  The Fohat is not a vague, ethereal shadow, nor an impersonal force. It is a person equal in every way with God the Father, God the Mother and God the Son. God as the Father(Universe), God as the Mother(Nature),   God as the Son(Divine Spark Christ Self)  and God as the Daughter(Fohat). And all the divine attributes ascribed to the Father, Mother and the Son are equally ascribed to the Daughter the Fohat.

Below is how the Bible defines the Fohat

The Fohat is not a mere symbol of anything. The Fohat has a mind (see Romans 8:27). She helped  to settle questions during the Church Council at Jerusalem (see Acts 15:28). No mere symbol is able to do the things listed below:

  • communicate ('speak') (Acts 13:2)
  • has intellect (1Cor. 2:11), emotion (Rom. 15:30), and will (1Cor. 12:11).
  • intercede (step in on behalf of someone) (Romans 8:26),
  • testify (John 15:26)
  • guide (John 16:13)
  • command (Acts 16:6,7)
  • appoint (Acts 20:28)
  • lead (Romans 8:14)
  • reveal to someone how wrong, foolish, or sinful he/she was (John 16:8)
  • seal God's promise in believers' hearts (Ephesians 1:13-14)
  • shape the life of each person and community to Christ's (Romans 8:1-17)
  •  forbade some from going to preach in certain places (see Acts 16:6-7).
  • anointed Jesus and sent Him out to preach the gospel (see Luke 4:18-19); In fact, both the Father and the Holy Spirit sent Jesus (see Isaiah 48:16).
  • testifies or witnesses of Jesus (see John 15:26).
  •  leads God’s people (see Romans 8:14).
  •  teaches and causes us to remember the truth (John 14:26).
  •  comforts us as does Christ (John 14:16).
  •  strives with us (see Genesis 6:3).
  • reproves us of sin, righteousness, and judgment (see John 16:8-11).
  • instructs us (see Nehemiah 9:20).
  •  speaks, guides, hears and shows (John 16:13-15).
  • speaks, chooses, calls and sends forth  ( Acts 13:1-4).
  •  gives messages to prophets and they declare: “Thus saith the Holy Ghost” ( Acts 21:11).
  • has knowledge, and searches all things ( 1 Corinthians 2:10-11).
  • sanctifies us (Romans 15:16).
  • holds communion with us (see 2 Corinthians 13:14); and so does Christ ( 1 Corinthians 1:9).
  • source of regeneration and renewal for salvation (John 3:5-8; Titus 3:5).
  • resurrects the faithful from the dead (Romans 8:11; 1 Peter 3:18).
  • the author of the Bible and moved upon the prophets to speak ( 2 Peter 1:21).
  • another Comforter other than Christ ( John 14:16).
  • helps our infirmities ( Romans 8:26).
  • can be blasphemed and sinned against (Mark 3:28-29; Luke 12:10; Matthew 12:31).
  •  another Intercessor other than Christ (Romans 8:26); The Spirit intercedes for us through prayer, while Christ intercedes for us through His precious blood, merits and righteousness.

Some Gifts from the Fohat:

  • dispenses gifts to different individuals according as She wills (see 1 Corinthians 12:8-11).
  • confers gifts and graces upon the Church for life, fruitfulness and service (John 6:63).
  • literally picked up servants of God from one area and then carried them to a different area in order to continue the spreading of the truth (see Acts 8:39-40; Ezekiel 3:14-15).

  •  sets apart the child of God for the ministry of God.
